The telethon had entered its tenth hour, and was now finally starting to get to get to the decent acts. One of these acts was a three-girl rock band by the name of Gene-Sis. They were on the last song of their set; Sintia, the lead guitarist and singer; Sabrina, the bassist; and Michele, the drummer. The audience was clearly greatly enjoying the show, but none of them knew that the trio on stage was more than just another band; Gene-Sis was also a trio of superheroes. Sabrina was also known as Nebilina, and had the power to create ice. Michele went by the hero name of Azana, and was capable of not only generating flames, but could also turn her body into living fire. Sintia's power of elasticity allowed her to stretch and reshape her body however she wanted, and she put that ability to good use as the heroine Melodia.
None of that mattered to the girls right now, though. They were wrapped up in their music, and all that they cared about was giving a great performance. It was the band's first major gig; it had turned out that Sintia's new friend Jenna was a childhood friend of the popular singer Tiffany. When the singer learned of Gene-Sis, she asked if they could perform on a local fundraiser she herself couldn't get to. The rest, as they say, was history.
The girls finished their last song, waved to the crowd and walked offstage to thunderous applause. As the emcee came out to introduce the next act, the sisters walked to a small area off to the side of the stage and began to relax. Sabrina picked up a few bottles of water. She handed bottles to her sisters, making sure to chill the drinks with her ice powers. "That was an awesome set, girls!"
"Oh, yeah," agreed Michele. "It's nice to just perform and not worry about all the usual superhero stuff we end up having to deal with."
Sintia took a drink from her bottle and sighed. "Tell me about it. It's nice to be performing for a large audience like this, too. I guess knowing a famous singer has its advantages!"
"You actually got to meet Tiffany, didn't you Sintia? What's she like in person, anyway? I've seen her interviews on TV," asked Michele. "She always comes off as kind of an...well, an airhead."
Sintia looked thoughtful for a moment, and then answered, "No, that's about right."
As the three girls laughed at this, a sultry female voice addressed them. "That was quite an impressive performance."
Approaching the trio was an older woman, dressed in a rather tight, revealing black outfit covered in sparkles. Her heels clicked on the wooden floor as she walked, and Sabrina had to suppress a chuckle at the sight of the woman's cloak. "Geez, nice outfit. Does she think she's a superhero or something?" she whispered to Mel, who answered with a quick elbow jab to the ribs. The green-haired woman seemed to not notice as she stood waiting for her introduction on stage.
"So, you three are Gene-Sis, eh? I liked your act. You all have a very..." She paused, giving Michele a quick up-and-down glance, and continued, "...attractive look. I hope to see more of you three soon."
The girls looked at each other confused as the announcer called out for the next act, "The amazing magic of Saffron!" The woman then winked at Michele and strode out onstage to the audience's applause.
Sintia raised an eyebrow as Saffron began to address to the audience. "That was...weird."
"Yeah," reliped Sabrina, as Saffron produced various items from thin air. "What was that about?"
Michele looked at her sisters with a confused expression. "Was...was she flirting with me?"
Sabrina laughed and gave Michele a playful punch on the shoulder. "Man, you just get all the groupies, don't you? You better hope your flame-head boyfriend doesn't find out!"
"Yeah, that's all I need," Michele answered with a roll of the eyes. "You just know that if he found out, he'd tell me to go for it and ask to watch."
As the girls laughed, Saffron continued her act. After a few small tricks, a stagehand pushed out a large-ish red box, about three feet to a side and with an open top, out on a wheeled table. "Thank you, thank you," said Saffron as the applause died down. "Now, for my big finale, I'm going to need the help of a lovely assistant. So I thought I'd get someone special to help me; the drummer for Gene-Sis, let's get Michele out here!"
As the audience laughed and applauded, Michele's eyes opened wide. "WHAT?!" she exclaimed, as Saffron quickly walked over to where the sisters were watching. The magician grabbed the shocked girl's arm and dragged her onstage despite her nervous protests.
Once again, Sabrina laughed at her sister's unease as Saffron stood next to the box. "Ah, Michele always looks so funny when she's embarrassed! It's too bad that Saffron chick didn't pick you, Mel! She could have put on the best show ever!"
"Yeah, but that'd be cheating, wouldn't it?" Melodia answered with a wink as, onstage, Saffron was asking Michele to take her shoes off.
"Thank you, Michele. Now, if my lovely assistant would just climb up onto the table and step into the magic box..."
Michele blushed nervously as she stepped up onto the table, and swung a leg into the box. "You're not gonna...stick swords in me, or slice me up or anything like that, are you?" she asked in a shaking voice.
Saffron laughed with the audience as Michele swung her other leg into the box. "Don't worry; I'm going to keep that nice body of yours in one piece!" She winked at the audience, whose laughter was now tinged with a few whistles and catcalls.
Michele flushed and frowned at the magician. "I'm not..." she began, but was cut off by Saffron strutting over to the box. "Oh come on...it's all in good fun!" She said, giving her nervous assistant a squeeze on the shoulder. "Now, all you have to do is duck down into the box, and leave the rest to me!"
Sintia and Sabrina watched with interest as Michele lowered herself into the box. "So what do you think she's gonna do?" asked Sabrina. "Make her vanish?"
"If she does, I have dibs on her room!" Sintia answered with a laugh.

Back onstage, Saffron closed the lid of the box, hiding her unwilling assistant completely. "Now, as you can all see," she told the audience as she locked the lid shut, "there is no way for my lovely assistant to escape the magic box!" Saffron gripped the table and turned it 360 degrees to show it from every angle. "As you can all see, the box is just big enough to hold Michele...until I do this!"
With a wide grin, Saffron placed both hands on the top of the box and pushed down. Slowly, the box shifted, seemingly shrinking down vertically as the magician put her strength down on the top. It only took a few moments, but before the audience's eyes the box had changed in size; it was still three feet wide and three feet deep, but now just under a foot in height.
Saffron stopped pushing down, took hold of the table, and started to slowly turn it again. "Looks like a pretty tight squeeze! Of course, I know what some of you are thinking...she's just lying down in there!" As the audience laughed, she stopped turning the table. "No, it's a good guess! But I can prove she's not by doing this!" Saffron now put her hands on the sides of the box, and started to push in.
Once again, the box started to shrink, but this time it was growing narrower. As the people watching gasped in amazement, Saffron squeezed the box until it was just under a foot wide.
Saffron started to turn the table again, showing off all sides of the now much smaller box. And still, there was no clear way that the poor girl locked inside of it could have gotten out. Yet, at the same time, the box was too small for someone to fit inside.
Saffron took a step back from the box, and looked at it with a thoughtful expression. "Well, I guess you could say I've got a 'crush' on Michele there!" The audience's reaction was a mixture of laughter, groans at the pun, and more catcalls. The magician looked to the audience, saying, "Sorry, I couldn't resist! So what do you say, folks...should I crush her one last time?"
The audience's response was one of approval. Saffron grinned, cracked her knuckles, and put her hands on the square sides of the three-foot long box. With a look of comical effort, she started to squeeze once more. "Wow, this is harder than I thought...she must be fighting back! It's almost like she doesn't like being crushed!" she told the viewers with a wink.
Slowly, the box was squeezed into a small cube, just under a foot a side. Saffron turned the table in a full circle one last time as the audience applauded. "Don't applaud yet, folks; you haven't seen the best part!"
Saffron put both hands on the side of the box again, but this time, instead of squeezing, she lifted it straight up with a flourish.
Revealed under the box was a sight that made the entire audience gasp in amazement. Sitting on the table was Michele, but her body had been crushed into a cube the size of the tiny box. Her scared face took up the front of the box, looking something like an image on a screen as she blinked in the sudden light. Her hair was the top of her new cube body, and spilled over a bit onto the face side. The palms of Michele's hands, fingers spread, were visible on the sides of the cube. The rest of the surface was an odd pattern that was created by her clothing. She looked for all the world like a cartoon character that got put thought one of ACME's out-of-control devices.
The theater erupted in applause as Saffron tilted the Michele cube back to show the soles of her socked feet on the bottom side of the cube. She then set Michele back down, and turned the table slowly to show everyone every angle of the now cube-shaped girl.
Michele's reaction was quite different from the audience's, however. Her eyes swiveled around as she tried to see what was going on. "What the... I can't move! What the hell did you do to me?! What's going on?" She looked close to tears as Saffron hopped up to sit on the table next to her victim. She rubbed her hand on the top of the cubed girl with a smile, and chuckled. "Isn't it obvious? I crushed you into a cube! But don't worry, you'll get used to it eventually! Come on, take a bow with me!"
Saffron got off the table and bowed to the applause. She then tilted the Michele cube forward on her front bottom edge for a moment to simulate a bow. Michele cried out in alarm at the strange forced movement, and looked like she was moments away from total panic as Saffron pushed the table and her frightened victim offstage.

On the other side of the stage, Sintia and Sabrina joined in the applause.
"Amazing..." said Sintia. "She must have abilities like Sandra does! Maybe they know each other...or they're related or something."
"Maybe," replied Sabrina as the magician pushed the table to the other side of the stage. "Let's go meet them over there and ask her."
The two girls walked around the large backstage area as the show continued out front. The worked their way to where they had seen Saffron, but they weren't prepared for what they found.
Saffron was nowhere to be seen, but the table was still there. Sitting on the table was their panicked sister, still in the shape of a cube with a folded piece of paper on top of her. Michele cried out in relief when she saw them. "Oh thank god! You've got to do something!" she exclaimed as the girls ran towards her. "That nutjob said that this is permanent and left me here! She said there's no way to turn me back to normal! I'm going to be stuck as a cube forever! I don't want to be like this! I can't move at all! Do something!!"
The girls looked down at their helpless sister in shock. Smoke was starting to rise off her as she panicked, causing the sisters to back up, Sabrina quickly grabbing the note. "Azana! Be careful! You're starting to..."
With a loud WOOMPH, Michele's power started up, transforming her into a being of solid flame. Unfortunately, that just changed the problem; even though she was made of solid flame, she was still in the shape of an immobile cube. She was also starting to burn through the table.
"Michele! You need to calm down! You're gonna burn the whole place down!" Both girls shielded their eyes from the sudden burst of heat and light, and Sabrina tried to use her powers to cut down on the amount of flame Azana was generating. Slowly, the flames died down, leaving Michele in the middle of a large scorched area of the table, and close to tears. "Dammit, I can't even fly like this! What am I going to do?!"
Sabrina looked at the folded piece of paper and saw the lipstick kiss on it. As she unfolded the paper, Sintia lifted up her crushed sister and tried to calm her down more. "Michele...it's okay...we'll think of something to get you back to normal. I promise."
"That lousy..." muttered Sabrina as she read the note. "Listen to this: 'Hello girls! I hope you like what I did to your sister; she should make an excellent footrest or paperweight now! Plus she's very easy to store! You might like to know that even I can't reverse this; I'm afraid she's stuck as a cube forever! But if you like it, I can do the same to the rest of you, and maybe keep you all on a shelf together! All you have to do is find me! Love and kisses, Saffron.'"
Michele maganed to look even more scared at this revelation, and the worried expression on Sintia's face grew even more pensive as Sabrina crumpled the note in her hand, her ice powers starting up in anger. "Why that...I'm gonna find her all right! I'm gonna kick her ass and make her change Michele back!"
"No, wait, we can't just..." Sintia began, but Sabrina had already run off deeper backstage and began taking off her civilian clothes as she did, revealing her white and blue superhero costume. "...Go rushing off," Sintia finished lamely. She looked down at the Michele cube in her hands, and tried to smile. "We gotta follow her. You know what she's like when she's mad..."
Michele looked up at her sister, although she didn't have much of a choice. As Sintia stretched her rubbery body out of her street clothes, Michele nervously asked, "You...you don't believe her when she said she couldn't change me back, right? I-it's just a joke...right?"
Sintia finished changing into her green and white costume and picked Michele back up. Sintia (or, more accurately now, Melodia) reshaped one of her hands into a soft cushion for her sister. "Don't worry, I think my friend Sandra might be able to help you," she told Michele as she picked up the cubed girl again. At least, I really hope she can, she thought to herself, but said aloud; "But we need to catch up to Neblina before she gets into trouble."

Neblina, meanwhile, was using an ice slide to force her way towards the back exit of the theater. She clearly wasn't worrying about subtlety as she knocked old forgotten props out of her way in her search for the mysterious Saffron. It wasn't long until she spotted her quarry; she saw Saffron walking out a side door.
"Found you!" shouted Neblina, as she rocketed towards the door. Saffron turned to look, her eyes growing wide in alarm. The magician quickly ducked through the door and shut it behind her.
"Oh yeah, like that'll stop me," thought Neblina. As she charged, she created a sharp battering ram of ice in front of her and dove forward to capture the magician.
Between her speed and the strength of the battering ram, the door didn't have a chance. The ram itself shattered, sending slivers of ice and chunks of wood flying in every direction. Neblina laughed in triumph as her momentum carried her though the door...
And into a tall waiting box, which Saffron was leaning against. "Gotcha," she said with a grin.
Before Neblina could react, she felt the box move of its own accord; the top of the box closed around her neck, the bottom just above her ankles, and the front of the box closed up. This left the young super heroine locked in an upright box with her head and feet sticking out the ends. "What the?!" she exclaimed as the sides of the box moved in slightly, pinning her arms to her sides. "Son of a...let me out of this thing, you bitch!"
Saffron laughed. "Well, since you asked so nicely, sure I will! After I turn it on, of course!" She pressed a button on the side of the box, and Neblina felt it hum to life. Suddenly, the top of the box began to rotate, turning her head to the right. She tried to resist, but the device was too strong. She then felt the bottom of the box start to turn as well, but realized in alarm that her feet were being rotated to the left.
"Urgh...what's...happening," the helpless hero grunted, her tight-clad feet wiggling helplessly as they were rotated together in the opposite direction of her head. She was beginning to feel tightness all through her body, from her neck to her ankles.
"Can't you figure it out, little girl?" mocked Saffron, giving Neblina's nose a tweak as it turned past. "You seem wound pretty tight, so I thought I'd help out and twist you even tighter! Then I'll stretch you out into a rope! How does being 30 feet long sound to you?"
Neblina's eyes widened in anger as her head continued to be turned by the box. "WHAT?! You psycho...let me out of here!" Neblina tried even harder to struggle against the force of the device, but she could really feel the twist in her body now, and was unable to do anything besides uselessly waggle her feet around as her body was twisted tighter and thinner. At the same time, the ends of the box began moving away from each other, stretching her out as Saffron laughed.

Fortunately for Melodia, her missing sister was easy to track; she left an ice slide running through several rooms. "I don't know how the heck we're going to explain this," said Melodia as she carried the cube that was her sister under her arm.
"We can worry about that later!" answered Michele. "Right now we need to worry about...oh no..."
Melodia saw what had caused Michele to trail off. The ice trail led them to a wrecked door, which had a note taped to the frame.
"What's it say?" asked Michele. She had never felt more helpless and useless in her life; it was bad enough being carried around like some kind of object, but she wasn't able to help her sister at all. She couldn't even see anything but what Melodia happened to point her at. She was also still afraid of the idea of being a cube forever, and Saffron's comments about footrests and paperweights hadn't helped. All she wanted now was to be herself again, to be able to move.
Melodia pulled the note off the frame and read it aloud. "'Got a little carried away, I hope 50 feet of rope is enough. S.' What the heck does that mean?" she asked with a puzzled expression. Then she looked down. "Oh..."
Sitting on the floor was a pile of long, thin rope. It was about three inches thick, and was a twisted blue and white pattern. But what was most troubling was that sticking one end of the rope was Neblina's head, looking normal but furious; and sticking out of the other end of the rope were her feet, the toes flexing and curling angrily in their blue tights. And Melodia knew without even needing to check that the rope that was made from her sister was fifty feet long. She angled Michele down to see, causing her to moan in distress. "Oh no! Not you too!"
"I," growled Neblina through gritted teeth, "am going. To KILL her."
Melodia sighed. "I really, really hope Sandra is home."

Even with Melodia's ability to stretch her legs to allow her to run faster, the trip to Sandra's apartment seemed to take forever. He sisters' arguing didn't help.
"At least you can still kinda move, Sabrina," said Michele sadly. "I can't do anything! I feel like a rock or something."
"Oh yeah, I can move a whole lot," groused Sabrina bitterly. "All I can do is wiggle my toes." She wiggled them by way of demonstration. "I'll be really popular with guys who're into that kind of thing."
"It's still more than I can do. I don't even want to try using my powers again while I'm like this."
Melodia hurried across the rooftops grateful for the fact that it was nighttime; at least nobody should be able to see them. She was carrying one sister in each hand; the Michele cube was sitting on a cushion made from Mel's left hand, and her right hand was basket that held the Sabrina rope, which Mel had coiled up and rested Sabrina's head on top. Her fidgeting feet were sticking out of the front of the coil, and Sabrina stared at them with a glum expression. "I can't believe Saffron got us all so easily. I feel like such an idiot."
"I think it's safe to say that she's been planning this for a while," said Michele. "I doubt she just happened to have all those devices with her and set them all up in five seconds each. She must have been planning on taking us out all along."
"Gee, you think? No wonder you're the smart one," Sabrina replied testily.
Melodia reached the window to Sandra's apartment and peered inside. She sighed with relief as she saw Sandra lying on the couch with her eyes closed, apparently taking a nap. There seemed to be an orange pillow or something on her lap, but Melodia didn't take the time to look closer. She formed part of her shoulder into a third arm, and used it to knock loudly on the window.
"GAH!" Sandra shouted in alarm at the sudden loud noise. She jumped a few inches off the couch, causing the pillow in her lap to tumble to the floor. She looked around the room in confusion, and saw Melodia looking in the window. Her expression changed from alarm and confusion to one of exasperation. The redhead then stretched her neck and hand over to the window, opening it. "Geez, Mel, you scared the hell out of us! What's the big idea?" Sandra then glanced down at the strange packages in her friend's hands. "What in the hell?"
Mel stretched herself though the open window and walked to the middle of the room. "Sorry, I was in a hurry. We ran into this weird woman at the telethon and...she..." Melodia trailed off as she looked at the floor and saw what she had originally thought was a pillow. It was, in fact, their mutual friend Jenna. Or, to be more precise, Jenna's head, with her white socked feet sticking out the bottom. She had fallen to the floor and landed on her side, glasses askew. Jenna looked mortified at being discovered, her face a deep red and her socked feet wiggling nervously.
"Um...h-hi Sintia...I was...I mean...we..." Jenna stammered from her awkward position. Melodia remembered Jenna mentioning something about being this unusual shape, and realized that Jenna and Sandra were probably playing when they were interrupted. She also remembered how embarrassed Jenna was about admitting it, and felt guilty about "exposing" her. Jenna couldn't even look up at Mel since she didn't have a neck anymore, but her stuttering attempts at an explanation for her current situation were interrupted when Sandra reached down and gently picked the compressed girl off the floor.
"Sorry about that, Jenna. I wasn't expecting company. Are you okay?" apologized Sandra. She stood Jenna on the coffee table, adjusted the sockgirl's glasses and smoothed her hair down.
"I think so...I d-didn't fall far," stammered Jenna, still looking completely humiliated.
"We were just hanging out," Sandra told Melodia. "Don't worry, you didn't interupt anything."
Jenna, for her part, looked like this was the single most humiliating moment of her life. She curled her socked toes and rubbed her feet together, but before she could try to explain again she noticed the transformed girls in Melodia's hands and gasped in surprise. At the same time, Michele and Sabrina saw Jenna. Sabrina gave the redhead a very curious look; she knew about what Sandra could do, and also knew that Sandra had a few friends she "played" with, as Sintia put it, and wasn't sure how she felt about it. Michele, however, looked shocked at Jenna's bizarre form. "Oh no," she cried sadly. "Did Saffron get to you too?"
"SAFFRON!?" exclaimed Sandra and Jenna in unison. "Saffron did that to you?" asked Jenna. Sandra lifted the coil of Sabrina rope out of Melodia's hand, and set it next to Jenna on the coffee table, which caused Jenna to somehow look even more flustered than before. Sandra then placed the Michele cube on the other side of Jenna, angled so she could at least see the other two. Both Jenna and Michele looked embarrassed; Sabrina just looked angry. Her tight-clad feet were still flexing and curling, but she didn't notice Jenna glancing at them and blushing even more.
Sandra looked down at the bizarre collection on her coffee table, and sighed. "Quite the set. A cubegirl, a sockgirl, and a ropegirl. All I need is a diskgirl and a ballgirl and that should be the complete collection." She turned to Melodia and gave her friend a half-smile. "Yeah, we know about Saffron. Don't worry, I can fix this." She then looked down at the table. "Sorry, Jenna, but changing these two back is higher priority. I hope you don't mind being compressed in front of guests for a while." She turned Michele and Jenna so they were facing each other, gently picked up Sabrina again, sat down, and began to untwist the end of the rope Sabrina's feet were sticking out of. "And while I'm doing this," she added to Mel, "you should have a seat and tell me what happened. Sounds like we need to compare notes."

As Sandra and Mel talked about the encounters with Saffron, and Sandra set about untangling the ropegirl in her lap, Michele and Jenna exchanged awkward looks, each of them clearly embarrassed at being seen by the other. Sandra had angled them so they were forced to look at one another, since the compressed Jenna couldn't turn her head and the cubed Michele couldn't move at all. Jenna wiggled her toes nervously, since that was about all she could do in this shape.
Michele glanced down at Jenna's feet, which weren't far away from either of the two girls, then up again at Jenna. "So," she began softly as the conversation continued above them, "did...did Sandra do that to you?"
Jenna blushed and looked down as best she could. "Er, y-yeah. We were just, y'know. H-hanging out."
"Oh. And you...you like being like that? Just a head and feet?"
Jenna looked at the cubed hero and bit her lip, her embarrassment at being seen like this by someone new being overridden by a desire to help the poor cubed girl feel a bit better. "Y-yes I do." Jenna's feet rubbed each other nervously as she talked. "It's...it's very comfy. And it's nice to be taken care of."
"But Sandra can change you back, right? You're not stuck like this."
Jenna smiled weakly, seeming to relax a bit herself. "Yeah, I just stay like this for a few hours, and Sandra always changes me back from whatever she does to me. She can't change people permanently. She just squeezed me down a like an hour ago. It's...it's just something she likes to do with her friends. Reshaping them in general, I mean. Not this shape. I think I'm the only one who likes being like this. I think I'm the only one who's ever been like this. I'm babbling, I'm sorry. I babble when I get nervous or when I meet someone for the first time."
Michele smiled at Jenna's attempt to help her relax, but she still looked pensive; like she had another question to ask but was too shy to ask it. She had also heard of Sandra and her powers, but didn't know to much more than the fact that Sandra could treat women like silly putty. The idea that Jenna did this willingly made her wonder, though...

"There we go! Good as new!" announced Sandra. The now un-twisted and un-stretched Sabrina jumped up and checked to make sure she was back to normal. "Although, if you want any alterations, I'd be glad to..."
"Oh no thanks! I've had enough of being treated like Play-Dough for one day." Sabrina started to pace back and forth angrily. "Ah, it feels so good to be able to move again! God, I'm gonna kick that green-haired psycho's ass so hard! I mean, what kind of person gets off on doing stuff like that to people?"
In her anger, she didn't see the reaction that question had on the rest of the room; Jenna looked mortified, Melodia shot an apologetic look at Sandra, Sandra just cocked an eyebrow, and Michele gave Jenna a worried look. Mel and Michele loved their sister, but sometimes she could be a little insensitive.
"Well, be that as it may, you're just lucky you know someone who can treat you like Play-Dough, or you'd be looking for work as a clothesline," Melodia replied in a warning tone of voice. "And I know you, Neb. You're thinking about hunting Saffron down right now, aren't you?"
"Actually, I'm thinking I'm gonna head home and take a nice bath. I feel filthy from being left on that nasty floor at the theater." She stalked back to the still-open window. "I'll see you two back home," she said curtly over her shoulder, and jumped out the window, creating an ice slide and speeding off into the night.
Sandra just sighed. "You know, I should just build a door on the side of the building. It'd make life a lot easier."
Melodia got up and walked to the window to watch her sister go off in the distance. "I'm sorry, you two. She didn't mean it like that, it's just..."
"It's been a rough day for all of you," said Sandra. "It's okay, I understand. I'm not mad at her." She then looked down at the two girls on the table and cheered up a bit. "And how are you two little cuties doing?" she asked with a smile, placing a hand on each of the girls. "Looks like you two are getting along well." She reached down and placed the Michele cube on her back so she was looking straight up at Sandra's smiling face. "Do you want to stay there with Jenna for a while, or do you want me to restore you now? It's your call."
Michele seemed to think about it for a moment, but replied, "Restore me please. I don't like being stuck in this shape. I feel so helpless!"
Sandra lifted the cubed girl off the table and sat with her in her lap. She pushed her fingers into Michele's square side around her flat hand, and pulled the hand out to three dimensionality once again. Michele cooed gratefully and flexed her fingers. "Well," said Sandra as she repeated the process with one of Michele's feet, "if there is a shape you do want to be stuck in, I can make it happen."
"Don't tease her, Sandra," Mel admonished as Michele blushed. She looked down at Jenna, who was still on the table, and picked her up and stood the compressed girl on her lap so Jenna could watch Sandra work. "It's bad enough we've apparently got a new supervillian to worry about, she's been stuck longer than Neblina was."
Sandra shrugged. "Offer still stands, Michele. But for now, let's just get you uncrushed."

Restoring Michele took longer than it did to fix Sabrina, but the time was well spent. Soon Michele was back to normal, and checking herself to make sure she was all there. "OOOOOH thank goodness I can move again," she sighed, doing twists in place to appease her aching back. "Man, I was scared I was going to be a cube forever! I can't thank you enough, Sandra! It feels sooooo good being me again."
Melodia stood up as well, placing Jenna back on the coffee table. "Yes, thank you Sandra. I'm so happy you were able to help us."
Michele was walking back and forth, enjoying the ability to move under her own power again. "Geez, I'm all amped up now. I can't help it; I need to move around! I need to go outside and fly!" She exclaimed with a grin. "Are you gonna head home, sis?"
Melodia ran her hand back through her hair and exhaled a large breath, but still managed a smile. "Not just yet. I think I'll hang out here for a while. But you go ahead; have fun. You defiantly earned it!"
Michele gave Sandra a grateful hug. "Thank you so much. If you ever need a favor, you name it." She then reached down, and softly gripped the socked toes of Jenna's foot. She then gently shook them like she was shaking hands. "It was nice to meet you, Jenna. I hope we didn't embarrass you too badly. Maybe I'll see you again sometime," she said with a shy smile. She then walked to the window and dove out. There was a flash of light, and a flaming figure flew up to the window, waved, and flew off.
Mel watched her sister fly off, closed the window, walked back to the chair, and flopped down deep into it, letting her arms hang loose and propping her feet up on the table in front of Jenna. "Good lord, what a day..." she moaned, leaning her head back. "This is all we need; a psycho who can reshape people and leaves them stuck that way. That's going to be a huge pain in my butt, I just know it. Plus, if she keeps doing it, we can't just bring people here constantly to be fixed! Hell, if she does this to a guy, you wouldn't be able to help him at all!" She sighed once again, stretched one arm out, lifted Jenna off the table, and laid the shocked sockgirl in her lap. "You know, Jenna, I think you have the right idea."
"I...I do?" Jenna replied nervously, her feet wiggling and cheeks blushing as Mel started to stroke her long red hair.
"Oh yeah. Just be a cute little head and feet person, stay like that all day, get taken care of, no crazy supervillians attacking you, no worrying about how to deal with said supervillian, no ten-minute arguments about who can move their feet...not a care in the world." Sintia continued to stroke Jenna's hair gently and sighed wistfully. "Kinda like a pet, really."
"Yeah, but being petted and taken care of by pretty girls is a pretty good deal, right Jenna?" Sandra asked with a laugh. Jenna looked even more embarrassed now, but still smiled nervously, her feet twitching. "W-well, yeah, I guess," she answered, her toes curling happily. She was starting to relax again now that the others had gone, and this situation was starting to remind her of a rather...interesting dream she had about Melodia a while back. The feeling of Sintia's fingers brushing through her long hair was nice and relaxing, too; it certainly seemed to help Melodia relax.
Melodia looked down at the sockgirl in her lap, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Hey, Sandra...do you think I could borrow Jenna and the spare bedroom for a while?"
As Jenna's eyes grew wide as saucers, Sandra grinned and raised an eyebrow. "Want to lay down for a bit?"
Sintia stood up, and cradled the heavily blushing sockgirl in her arms. "Kind of. I think I'll join Jenna in head and feet land for a bit; plus I haven't talked to Jenna in a while. I think I need to make it up to her for interrupting her playtime tonight." She carried Jenna across the room as Sandra waved happily. "Take all the time you need. Me casa is su casa!"

Sintia carried Jenna into the spare bedroom and locked the door behind her. She then laid Jenna down on her side on one of the pillows on the bed. Jenna was looking very nervous now, and only grew more nervous when Sintia climbed on the bed herself. "Um...uh...S-Sintia...wh-what are you doing?"
Sintia laid down facing Jenna, and smiled. "Like I said, joining you. Just watch." She closed her eyes to concentrate, and Jenna watched in amazement as Sintia's body started to flow and pull into itself. She grew shorter, her arms vanishing and her body folding into itself. Jenna grinned and wiggled her feet as she realized what was happening; before long, Sintia had squeezed herself down so her green-tight-clad feet were sticking out of the bottom of her head.
Sintia sighed and opened her eyes, smiling warmly at Jenna's face an inch or so in front of her. She gave her toes an experimental wiggle, brushing them against Jenna's toes which caused the redhead to giggle and wiggle her own toes.
"Wow...this shape? It feels wonderful," sighed Sintia happily, curling her toes and flexing her feet. "I really do feel like a little pet. You know what; I could stay like this all night. Hell, all week! No wonder you like it so much! I knew you had the right idea staying like this."
Jenna smiled shyly at the compliment. This was the first time she'd seen someone else in this form, and she liked it. "You're lucky, though. You can do it yourself whenever you want; I need Sandra to do this to me, and I can't go too far away from her or I'll pop back to normal."
Sintia laughed. "That's a shame. We need to figure out a way to let you get like this on your own!" She then tickled Jenna's toes with her own, causing her to giggle more. "Ooh...then we could both be like this whenever we want, and hang out together! Like a squished slumber party!"
"That's a neat idea," chuckled Jenna. "Although it might be hard to get into a pillow fight like this!"
As the two compressed girls continued to laugh and talk, Sandra sat down to watch TV in the living room, smiled to herself, and wondered idly how long it would be until Michele took her up on her offer.

EPILOUGE
Saffron walked out of the bathroom after her shower, a towel wrapped around her body and another wrapped around her hair. She was still smiling to herself; it had been a great day. She faced off against three super heroes, and had managed to take two of them out of commission! And with Melodia having to take care of her now helpless sisters, that should cut down on the rubber girl's activities too. She had no idea how her boxes and devices would affect someone who could change her own shape, so she had decided to play it safe on that front. Still, two out of three wasn't bad.
"Not a bad start to my supervillian career, wouldn't you say?" This question was addressed to an unusual wall decoration. Mounted on the wall of Saffron's bedroom was a life-sized, life-like, paper-thin woman, captured in a pose and look of surprise, and laminated in plastic. The figure looked like it might have been cut out from a poster, but a close look would reveal the truth; this poor woman was another of Saffron's victims, pressed flat and laminated, unable to do anything but move her eyes.
Saffron laughed. "I think it's finally time to start building my collection. Just think," she said to the flat figure on the wall, "you're finally going to have some company! You may have been my first, but you won't be my last."
The doorbell rang, and Saffron smiled evilly. "And there's my first victim."
She walked to the door, still wearing nothing but a towel. She pulled the towel down a bit to show more of her chest and cleavage, unwrapped the towel from around her hair, and opened the door. Standing outside was a boy in his late teens, wearing a red and blue outfit and holding a pizza box in one hand.
"Hi, that'll be...twelve...dollars...uh..." His statement trailed off as he saw the attractive woman before him, still wet from the shower and barely covered by a towel.
Saffron smiled seductively. "Awww...I don't seem to have any money on me. What's your name, handsome?"
"Um...er...J-Jake..." he replied, his wide eyes fixed on her ample breasts.
Saffron moved next to Jake and slid an arm around his shoulder, pushing her chest onto his arm. "Tell you what, Jake; why don't you come with me and help me find my wallet?"
Jake's gaze didn't shift. "O-Okay..."
Saffron led the stunned boy into the house with a predatory grin. "Tell me, Jake," she asked as the door slowly swung shut behind her. "Have you ever thought about becoming a magician's assistant?"
Woo! New story! Melodia and her sisters meet Saffron for the first time, and hilarity (and transformations) ensue.

(Gene-Sis reference for those who don't recognize them: [link] )

Man, this ended up long. 14 pages in Word, just over 1700 words. I came up with the original idea for this a while back when I first came up with Saffron; it wasn't until Monday that I was able to start writing the story. And once I started, it got away from me a bit.

(Read the story before reading this next part)
Y'see, I intended most of the stuff in this story to happen "off camera". Neblina getting twisted and the restorations were supposed to be either very short or not written in at all; after the girls got to Sandra's apartment, the restoration would have been mostly off-screen. But then I started adding detail. Then I added the reactions to seeing Jenna. Then I added the conversation between Michele and Jenna. Then I added more detail. Then I added the scene with Jenna and Melodia. Then I added more detail.

The result is what you see above.

I tried hard to make sure that everyone acted in character, especially Gene-Sis, who I'd never written for before. Kidd-P was very helpful in helping me get a handle on their personalities. I just feel bad about Michele; I didn't have too many opportunities for show that she's the geeky one; her and Jenna would have a lot in common. Maybe I'll do a story where she takes Sandra up on her offer...

And as for Saffron, well...let's just say that poor pizza guy's gonna miss the rest of his shifts for a very, very long time.
